Botox® Cosmetic is the first and only treatment FDA-approved to temporarily reduce the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines. A combination of factors can cause facial lines. It’s not just about the cellular changes that may occur, or reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment. Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. Botox® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines to help them look visibly smoother.
DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. The hyaluronic acid within fillers can be used to diminish facial lines, restore facial volume loss, as well as lift and shape cheeks, jawlines and lips (to name a few). As we age, collagen (which maintains skin firmness) gradually disappears. Dermal fillers can take years off of your appearance by restoring that lost volume and fullness. The most common dermal fillers we use are the Juvederm® and Restylane® family of fillers.
KYBELLA®
Kybella® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile. The active ingredient in Kybella® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella® destroys fat cells, resulting in noticeable reduction in fullness. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Procedures
VAMPIRE FACELIFT®
The vampire Facelift® procedure combines the science of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, such as Juvederm®, your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and the artful eye of your skilled provider to deliver youthful, natural beauty that is as unique as you. You can expect a smoother skin tone, refreshed skin color due to new blood vessel formation, fading of scars, and a more youthful lifted face shape from collagen replenishment and tissue regeneration. Clients love the increased vibrancy and glow to their skin.
VAMPIRE FACIAL®
With the Vampire Facial®, your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), combined with micro-needling, turn on the skin’s healing mechanisms. Micro-needling creates micro-injuries to the skin causing an increase in collagen production. The delivery of PRP into the deeper layers of your skin improves fine lines and wrinkles, increased elasticity and firmness, smoother texture, younger color, and a reduction in scarring.
VAGINAL PRP REJUVENATION SHOT
Vaginal PRP Rejuvenation is a procedure that uses your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to rejuvenate vaginal tissue. By injecting PRP into selected areas of the vagina, clients will experience enhanced sexual response, greater arousal from clitoral stimulation, increased desire, stronger and more frequent orgasm, increased natural lubrication, and help with both urge and stress incontinence.
SKIN TREATMENTS
HYDRAFACIAL®
The HydraFacial® resurfacing procedure thoroughly cares for your skin providing cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration, all while Vortex –Fusing® antioxidants, peptides, and Hyaluronic acid into the skin. The HydraFacial® is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure that delivers instant results with no discomfort or downtime. The procedure is soothing, moisturizing, non-irritating, and immediately effective.
MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, creates tiny micro-injuries to the skin causing an increase in collagen production. The purpose of the treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. It is also great for improving the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, and unwanted pigmentation.
CHEMICAL PEELS
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces peeling of the outermost layers of the skin. Chemical peels can reduce hyperpigmentation, acne, acne scarring, as well as give the skin a brighter tone and firmer texture. At Brilliance MedSpa we have several chemical peels that can be customized for your specific skin conditions.
Dr. Iannotti’s Weight Loss Program
Using his training in family medicine, men's and women's health, sports medicine and concepts in psychology, Dr. Iannotti has created a successful weight loss program for his patients. The 30-45 minute interview-based consultation includes 4 parts: psychology of health/unhealthy eating, nutrition/diet review, proper exercise discussion, and a 3-6 month medication supplementation. After the initial 3-6 month weight loss program, patients are invited to continue periodic medication use 1-2 months each following year, usually 1 month in mid-Winter and one Spring month before swimsuit season. Cost of the initial interview/consultation with Dr. Iannotti is $250. Medication is separately purchased at any local pharmacy.
Typical results:
- 17-20% total body weight loss in 3-6 months
- Reduction of pant or dress size by 4-6 sizes, depending upon starting size
- Ability to keep weight off when abiding by healthy psychology, diet, exercise, and intermittent medication.
